Is there an initial cleaning fee?
If your yard or area to be serviced has an accumulation of dog waste of more than 1 to 2 weeks worth, then you will be charged an initial cleaning fee of $49 for the first hour, and $10 for each additional quarter-hour (15 minutes). We will gladly assess whether or not the accumulation of waste is excessive and subject to the initial cleaning fee prior to performing any services.
What is the frequency of service?
We offer our services once per week or every other week (up to 3 dogs only for every other week service). Most of our customers prefer a once a week service. Please see our Pricing page for more information on the different service frequencies we offer.
Yes! As with the initial cleaning fee, a rate of $49 per hour, plus $10 for each additional quarter-hour, will be charged for a one-time cleaning service. Payment for the first hour will need to be provided prior to your service.
Do I need to keep my dog(s) inside during the service visit?
We love dogs! So, as long as your dog(s) is friendly and not aggressive, he/she is more than welcome to keep us company while we work for you and him/her. There are some instances when a dog will not let our worker into the yard. If you know that your dog is not good with strangers, or it becomes apparent that your dog will not allow us to clean the yard, then we ask that you confine your dog while we provide you with our cleaning service. We do not want to take any unnecessary risks with your dog or our employees.
Do I need to be at home during the service visit?
You do not have to be home for service to be provided as long as your yard/dog area to be serviced is accessible. If you have a locked gate to the area that is to be serviced, you will need to make sure that the gate is unlocked for us to provide you with our service since employees are not allowed to climb or jump over fences. If you would like, we can provide you with a combination lock for your gate at no extra charge.
Please note that if your gate is locked and your yard is not accessible on the day of service, you will be charged a fee of $10 for the visit.
What do you do to prevent spreading disease between yards?
We spray all tools, equipment and footwear between each service visit with a disinfectant solution that is safe and biodegradable, but kills the microorganisms that cause parvovirus, rabies, kennel cough, foot and mouth disease, corona virus, and distemper.
Can I stop/halt service when I am on vacation and my dog(s) is not using the yard?
Yes. Just give us a call in advance to let us know when you will be away and we will discontinue service for that period of time, as long as there is no accumulation of dog waste during your absence. We will resume service when you return home.
Can I change my day of service if I need my yard cleaned for a special event or occasion?
Absolutely. Please provide us with at least a 1-week notice so that we may reschedule your service visit for your special event. An extra service charge may apply.
Do you provide services during the winter?
Yes! Although dog waste location and collection during the winter season present several challenges due to varying winter conditions, your dog continues to conduct his "business" and so do we. A Winter Policy is provided to existing customers for further explanation of operations during the winter season.
When/How will I be billed for services?
For the first time or one-time service, you will need to provide payment in advance or on the day of service (this would require you to provide payment in person or left in an agreed upon location prior to service being provided). Any additional charges for the initial cleaning or one-time service (i.e., services provided in excess of the first hour) will be billed to you.
Regular service visits, following your first cleaning, are billed on a prepaid monthly basis. Payment will be due within one week of the start of service (one week after your first service visit) for the remainder of the month that you first begin service. Subsequent prepaid monthly invoices will be mailed at least 15 days before the next month and will be due on the last day of the month prior to the new month.
Customers also have the option of paying on a prepaid quarterly basis instead of receiving an invoice every month. As with prepaid monthly invoicing, payment will be due within one week of the start of service (one week after your first service visit) for the remainder of the quarter that you first begin service. Subsequent prepaid quarterly invoices will be mailed at least 15 days before the start of a new quarter and will be due on the last day of the month prior to the new quarter.
What methods of payment do you accept?
We accept cash, checks, money orders and credit cards through PayPal.
Yes. We are fully insured for your and our protection.
Yes. We provide a 10% discount for Seniors 60+ and assistance dogs off of regular service fees (one-time and initial cleanings not included).
Do you provide any referral incentives?
Yes. If you are an existing customer and refer a new customer to us, we will provide you with a $15 discount off your next invoice after your referral has had, and paid for, 4 regular service visits. There is no limit to the number of new customers you may refer to us.
